Road trips are exciting alright. But it can’t be denied that it also comes with a few downsides.
Long trips driving aren’t really the most comfortable way to sightsee. Luckily, there are plenty of products in the market that addresses just that.
One of them is this entry-level camper trailer that packs a ton of comfort and function is a small space.
Meet the Boreas AT
Created by Boreas Camper, the Boreas AT retails for $18,900. Sounds like a lot, huh?
It might be a good investment though if you’re the type to go on a road trip every summer. Bringing your own accommodation along would also decrease your contact with people frequented motels and keep you safer from the coronavirus.
Although still a young company, Boreas Camper has been working to make their trailers last. One of its efforts is to opt for wood-less components.
This design philosophy is evident in all of the trailers they produce including their latest offering the Boreas AT.
Outdoor Companion
Adventure seekers can rest assured that the Boreas camper trailer can go with them even in the most uneven of terrains thanks to its 31-inch tires. Another great feature are its two outdoor LED lights, which are also dimmable.
The trailer measures 183 inches long and 84 inches wide. It weighs 1,850 pounds.
Meanwhile, the cabin itself measures 60 inches wide by 108 inches long. Seems a little bit cramped for your comfort?
No worries. You can extend the space by deploying the trailer’s side awning, which further adds some more living space.
Mobile Hotel
Inside, you’ll find a 4.5-inch thick memory foam queen bed flanked by doors and screened windows. There are also dimmable LED lights installed in the sleeping space in case the natural light outside has gone.
The cabin comes with insulation as well as a ceiling fan, which helps maintain the temperature inside. You can also find some storage units and USB power sources for smart devices inside.
Since its interiors are pretty small, the rest of the amenities offered by the Boreas AT can be found outside.
Going back outside, the trailer has a stainless steel countertop for preparing meals or storing dining equipment. It also has space and wiring for a 12-volt refrigerator (not included).
The camper trailer is powered entirely by a 125-amp battery, which can last as long as four days.
